- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk

- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt

- In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring they are evenly coated. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Slowly pour in the whole milk, mixing gently until all the bread cubes are soaked in the mixture.
- Pour the bread pudding mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 15 minutes before serving.
- If desired, drizzle heavy cream over the top or dust with powdered sugar for an extra touch.
